PA-CF (Nylon Carbon Fiber) is an advanced engineering-grade filament designed for high-performance and industrial applications. By combining the toughness and chemical resistance of Polyamide (Nylon) with the high rigidity of carbon fiber, PA-CF provides exceptional strength and structural integrity, making it the premier choice for heavy-duty functional parts and metal replacement.
Features
-
Ultra-high mechanical strength
-
Superior heat resistance (HDT)
-
High rigidity & stiffness
-
Exceptional dimensional stability
-
Lightweight & durable
-
Professional matte surface finish
Industrial-Grade Strength & High Rigidity Reinforced with short carbon fibers, PA-CF delivers outstanding tensile strength and structural stiffness far surpassing traditional materials. It exhibits superior fatigue and impact resistance, making it ideal for replacing lightweight metal components, structural brackets, and load-bearing functional parts.
High Temperature Resistance Featuring a high Heat Deflection Temperature (HDT), PA-CF maintains its structural integrity and mechanical properties even in high-heat environments, ensuring reliable performance under continuous thermal stress.
Low Warping & Dimensional Precision The integration of carbon fiber significantly reduces the natural thermal shrinkage and moisture warping typical of standard nylon. This guarantees low distortion, tight dimensional tolerances, and high accuracy even when printing large, complex models.
Professional Matte Finish Carbon fiber reinforcement effectively diffuses light and masks layer lines, resulting in a smooth, premium matte black surface finish directly off the print bed without requiring extensive post-processing.
Abrasion Resistant & Clog-Free Flow Engineered for smooth extrusion with minimal stringing and consistent flow rates. Engineered diameter tolerances (+/- 0.03mm) ensure stable feeding, reliable layer adhesion, and consistent printing quality throughout the entire reel.
Printing Requirements
-
Hardened Nozzle Required: Carbon fiber is abrasive. A hardened steel or ruby nozzle (0.4mm or larger) is required to prevent nozzle wear.
-
Drying Required: PA-CF is highly hygroscopic. Dry the filament before use and print directly from a dry box for optimal mechanical strength and surface finish.
